Snow fungus — prized in Chinese cuisine for deep hydration and often described as a natural counterpart to hyaluronic acid.
What it is
Tremella is a pale, frilled mushroom simmered into sweet soups and dessert broths across China. In tradition it 'nourishes yin' — the body's cooling, moistening aspect — and is associated with plump, hydrated skin.
